meteoblue Adds Thousands of New Weather Stations and Enhances Weather Maps

meteoblue, a Windy.com company, has broadened its weather monitoring capabilities by incorporating thousands of additional weather station data from countries around the world. This data will provide more precise and timely atmospheric insights for both the general public and businesses.

meteoblue added more than 4,000 new weather stations to their weather maps and the meteoblue Learning MultiModel. The biggest additions included 1,675 stations were added in Norway, 724 in Poland, 675 in Australia, and 434 in Czechia. The company also improved the processing and integration of more than 40,000 weather stations on the American continent.

With access to more frequent weather observations, both private and corporate users will experience improved accuracy in real-time weather data. The private sector will benefit from more reliable local forecasts supporting daily decision making. The business sector will be able to make better weather-risk decisions.

meteoblue plans to extend this operation in the future, further strengthening the global weather observational network.
