The Government Forecasts screen provides a specialized comparison between your forecasts and national weather service / government provider forecasts. This is particularly relevant for providers who need to demonstrate value versus freely available government forecasts.

Comparison Table

The main view presents a detailed comparison table showing:

  • Provider names: Your organization alongside government forecast sources
  • Accuracy metrics: Side-by-side accuracy scores for each metric
  • Difference columns: The gap between your performance and government forecasts
  • Color-coded indicators: Green where you outperform government sources, red where you trail

Filters

Use the standard filter bar to control the comparison:

  • Month: Select the observation period
  • Days Out: Choose the forecast lead time
  • Location: Focus on specific regions
  • Market: Select your competitive segment

PDF Export

The Government Forecasts screen includes a PDF export feature. Click the export button to generate a formatted PDF report of the comparison data. This is useful for:

  • Client presentations demonstrating your value vs. free government data
  • Internal review meetings
  • Regulatory or contractual documentation
