The Daily Insights screen lets you examine forecast accuracy at the station level for individual dates. Use this view when you need granular, day-by-day analysis of forecast performance.

Date Selection
Use the date picker at the top to select a specific observation date. Unlike the Monthly Insights screen (which uses a month picker), Daily Insights works with individual calendar dates.
Single Day-Out Selector
The day-out selector on this screen works differently from the range selector on other screens. Here, you select a single forecast day (Day 1 through Day 14) rather than a range. Quick-select buttons are provided for commonly used lead times (Day 1, 3, 7, and 14).

Station-Level Data
The main table displays individual station results for your selected date and day-out. Each row shows:
- Station name and ID
- Your forecasted value
- Observed (actual) value
- Error magnitude
- Comparison against market average error
Station Detail Modal
Click on any station row to open a detailed modal view. The station detail modal provides:
- Source data: The raw forecast and observation values
- Error breakdown: Multiple error metrics for that station on that date
- Provider comparison: How other providers in your market performed at the same station
- Historical context: Recent performance trend at this station
